Finding your gown is a wonderful milestone. The next step is making the whole look yours.
Make an alterations plan.
Lace’s HBC Insider recommends speaking with an alterations professional early. Share your wedding date, ask about availability, and allow enough time for fittings. A take-home gown can still need tailoring.
Bring your look together.
Choose your shoes, undergarments, veil, and accessories with your dress in mind. Ask your seamstress which items to bring to each fitting, especially shoes that affect the hem length.
